Tell Us What You Need
Share a few details and we’ll take it from there.
Start with the appliance
Which appliances are you replacing?
A refrigerator, washer and built-in dishwasher need different preparation. Tell us what is leaving and whether it still connects to power, gas or water.
1
Refrigerators and freezers
Include the unit type and size, plus any water line for an ice maker. Empty food and loose contents before pickup. Tell us about leaks or damage; leave refrigerant lines intact.
2
Washers and dryers
List each machine, not just the pair. A washer has water connections; a dryer may use gas or electricity. Arrange safe disconnection first and tell us if machines are stacked.
3
Ranges and dishwashers
Say whether the appliance is freestanding or fixed into cabinets. Gas lines, hardwired power and plumbing are not part of our hauling work. Built-in units need to be safely released before removal.
4
Unusual or damaged equipment
Send details for oversized, commercial or leaking equipment before scheduling. A household appliance category does not establish acceptance for every unit. We do not remove hazardous waste or repair damaged systems.

Separate the two jobs
Disconnection comes before appliance hauling
Our service is lifting, loading and hauling the agreed appliance, not disconnecting utilities. Have a qualified professional handle gas lines, hardwired electrical connections and plumbing as needed. If you are unsure how a unit is connected, leave it in place and arrange that work before pickup.
A disconnected appliance may still be secured to cabinets or joined to another machine. Describe brackets, stacked units and any remaining hoses or cords. We need to know the unit is safely free for removal; do not cut connections, force it out or tip it to drain liquid.
Readiness details to confirm
✓ Appliance type, size and quantity
✓ Utility connections safely disconnected
✓ Built-in fixings and stacked units identified
✓ Contents removed; leaks reported
Measure the carry route
A clear path matters as much as size
An appliance can fit in its room but not through the next doorway. Send photos of the unit, narrow turns and stairs, without moving it for the picture. Include the floor and any elevator or loading restrictions. We review the carry route before agreeing to the pickup.
The estimate reflects the number of appliances, their size, readiness and access. Extra stairs, a long carry or another item can change the work. Pricing guidance explains broader cost factors; photos give a preliminary estimate, and we confirm the final price before loading.
Agree on what leaves
Point out the old units and anything nearby that must stay. After loading the units on your list, we do a basic sweep where the work area is accessible. Installing the replacements, reconnecting utilities and repairing cabinets or floors are separate jobs, not part of appliance removal.

From the first call to the cleared space
We agree on the items, access and price before loading. Here’s how we work through a pickup or cleanout.

Illustration of a discussion about items to remove.
1
Step 1
Tell us what needs to go
Describe the items and where they are. Photos help show the amount and condition; mention stairs, parking or a building access window.
2
Step 2
Confirm the scope and price
We review the items and access, then confirm the work and final price with you before loading. A photo estimate is preliminary.
3
Step 3
Let us lift and load
We remove the agreed items from the agreed location with safe access. Keep belongings outside the removal scope clearly separate.
4
Step 4
Check the cleared area
We finish with a basic sweep of accessible work areas. Review the space with us; deep cleaning, repairs and restoration are not part of that finish.
Cooling units need care
Keep refrigerator cooling lines intact
Refrigerant is the fluid used in an appliance’s cooling system. Do not open, cut or drain that system for pickup. Tell us if the unit is damaged or appears to leak.
We review refrigerant-bearing appliances before scheduling; hauling is not a refrigerant recovery service. What we take guidance covers other materials that need separate review, including chemicals or containers stored near the appliance.

Appliance pickup questions
These details help you choose a removal option without assuming hauling includes other services.
Only if you qualify for that residential disposal route. The County requires an empty unit, County-address ID and a tax bill showing current solid-waste assessments; allowance limits apply. Municipal customers must check their own provider, and apartment residents have different paid options. Businesses cannot use Community Collection Centers. See the County refrigerator and freezer guide before a trip. These resident benefits do not transfer to our hauling service.
Check your order before arranging a second pickup. Retailer take-back may be a separate charge and may require disconnection or exclude certain appliances. Confirm which unit they will collect and from where; delivery of the replacement alone does not establish old-appliance removal.
Possibly, but a recipient must agree to accept it. Working condition alone may not satisfy age, safety, size or pickup requirements. We cannot guarantee donation, a receipt or a specific recycling outcome. If you want a particular recipient, confirm acceptance and transport arrangements before booking removal.
Remove the contents before appliance pickup. If you cannot safely empty it, tell us before scheduling rather than sealing food inside for the crew. Spoiled contents, pests or contamination need separate review; ordinary appliance removal does not include food cleanup or hazardous remediation.
Confirm who owns it and who can authorize its removal. A landlord’s appliance should not be discarded solely because a tenant is replacing it. Tell us who will approve the pickup list and quote; permission to enter the property is not necessarily permission to remove its equipment.
