Questions before furniture pickup
It may be, if you have an eligible active City residential solid-waste account and can meet the curbside schedule. Tampa's SWEEP program does not serve New Tampa, which receives County service. Check the current SWEEP eligibility and schedule for your address; a Tampa mailing address alone is not enough.
Arrange that with us before scheduling. Name the person providing access and the person authorized to approve the quote or a scope change. They may not be the same person, so confirm who can make each decision and which pieces can leave.
Yes, for furniture you own or are authorized to have removed. Get the owner's permission before including furnished-rental items or anyone else's belongings. A removal request does not settle a dispute over ownership.
A bed frame can be reviewed as a furniture item. Identify the frame, mattress and box spring separately, and tell us whether the frame is assembled. Mattress and box-spring condition and receiving requirements are reviewed separately from the frame.
Do not assume that it will. Paid lifting and hauling are separate from a receiving organization's decision to accept an item. Ask us to confirm the removal quote even if you hope the furniture can be donated.
